wooden childrens toys

I was five years old when I entered pre-school. I remember my first day clearly like it just happened yesterday. I was so scared I didn’t want to leave my mom’s side. The only reason I left her side and the only reason why I remember this is because of the wooden childrens toys the school had. It was the first time I’ve seen such toys because the toys that I have at home were all made of plastic. So I had a great time playing with the wooden blocks. I even met my future best friend there.

Now that I’m an adult and have a kid of my own, I want my Paolo to play with wooden children’s toys also. One of the first toys I got him was a wooden train. I also got him some wooden building blocks. The wooden blocks of today are different from the one I used to play with. They are more colorful and the paint is non toxic. The blocks I used to play with are not painted. Nevertheless, I had a grand time playing with them.
