air force model airplanes

Usually, when an air craft has served its purpose and can longer take to the sky, it gets decommissioned. However, an aircraft’s legend lives on even if it is taken out of action. That is the reason for the existence of air force model airplanes, toy jets, memorabilia, and sometimes commemorative plaques.

Model airplanes are usually made of wood, but there are also diecast ones, along with the toys. Plastic models can be good collectibles too, but usually plastic can deteriorate faster especially if exposed to elements. Mahogany seems to be a popular material, especially for the handmade wooden models.
