My little boy is growing up too fast. Back in the days he would usually just run for me and be dependent on me and his dad. Now he loves to ask for those playtime sessions my friends and I would usually plan. He is such a sociable person, and he loves playing with kids and sharing his toys with them. It was just like yesterday when he could not even speak nor walk. Time does fly fast without you realizing it.

One of the things I bought him was one of those big rig toy trucks. He saw the same toy from one of my friend’s sons and he wanted one for himself so they can race them together. They are quite a tandem and they would have so much fun playing the whole day. This is absolutely convenient for us friends so we can have our own chitchat while they play. They can busy themselves with big rig toy trucks while we can sit back and relax, and have a few laughs.

Quality Time

As parents, it is your obligation to ensure that your children grow up well in an environment that is conducive to their development and well-being. It is important for us to spend some quality time with our children as well, and not just relying on nannies or household help to look after our children. Yes, it is important to earn money for your children to be able to afford the things your children needs, but it is also important that your children feel the love that you have for them.

Spending quality time with your children is one of the ways by which you can be in constant and open communication with your children. Why not spend a few hours cooking up their favorite dish, or take out those childrens toys out of the box and get some playing with you. That way, they would not only be supported financially, but would make them realize that their parents are there to support them whenever they need it. There is nothing like spending quality time with your family to ensure their overall well-being as they grow up into the adults that you want them to be.

Almost all children, even boys, benefit from playing with dolls. By dressing and pretend-feeding dolls, kids enhance their fine motor skills. When they put dolls in and out of bed, they develop coordination and large motor skills. And by assuming roles and interacting with people around them, kids develop language and social skills like sharing and helping others.

Many kids would also enjoy playing with wooden doll houses. There are doll house kits parents can buy with rooms already built in as shelves. They come pre-assembled or ready-made. Wooden doll houses are better than plastic ones because doll houses made of wood are sturdy and long lasting. They look more appealing and are created with better quality materials.

Teddy bears have been around for a long time. They have become a staple of childhood toys and they hold a spot in all of our hearts. The beauty of it is that teddy bears have come in all shapes and sizes, various colors and personalities. Books have been written about various teddy bears and stories have been told. Some teddy bears have even made it onto the movie and TV screen.

But perhaps the teddy bears that deserve the most recognition are those that live with us. A teddy bear can bring comfort to a sick or scared child and they can bring a smile to our day. If you do not have a special teddy bear in your life you are missing out on a comforting friend that wants nothing more than to see you happy.

Great Toys for Boys

There is something about boys and construction toys. My first son got a huge bucket of Lego building toys from my sister on his first birthday. He quickly figured out what to do with those little bricks. Soon, he was building his own versions of airplanes, ships, and cars.

My second son also showed an affinity with Lego building toys when he could already play with them. It didn’t take long before the two boys would often fight who gets what parts and how many. To end the arguments, my husband came home one night with two more buckets of Legos. Finally, things were peaceful in our house again.
