I had my first dollhouse when I was seven years old. It was the happiest day of my life back then. I started collecting dollhouse furniture soon after that. One of my favorite pieces was this dollhouse upholstered chair that was the centerpiece of my dollhouse. I still have this chair with me until now. It is still the centerpiece of my dollhouse collection. You won’t believe the detailing of this dollhouse upholstered chair. It is truly one of a kind.

I have collected a lot of dollhouse furniture during my time. But my favorite will always be this upholstered chair. If this chair was life-sized, I would be sitting on this chair everyday. It just seems so comfortable that I can’t help but relax whenever I see this chair. It also brings back a lot of my childhood memories playing with that dollhouse. I plan to give this to my daughter once she reaches seven years old. Then she can have all the memories that goes with it.

I’ve always been fascinated with doll houses. I always get that feeling that I’m a giant and I’m peering into someone’s home. It’s amusing to see miniature furniture, decorative items, utensils, dinnerware, plants, and so on. Sometimes I can’t help but imagine myself become small enough to fit through those doll house doors and see if it would be like walking inside a real house.

Doll houses are available in different forms. There are the ready-made doll houses that come in kits and custom-built houses made to the customer’s design. Other people simply design, build, and decorate their own doll houses. Creating doll houses have become an art, and enthusiasts hold dozens of miniature trade shows where artisans and dealers can display and sell their miniatures.
