There is something very thrilling and enjoyable about the wind tearing into your hair as you zoom towards the ground in a frenzy of speed. Perhaps that explains the delight people get every time they run down a flight of stairs or speed down a mountain. The same is true of slides too.

Playground slides, swings and see-saws are probably the most enjoyed pieces of playground equipment. But among them, it’s the playground slide that is a universal favorite. It is enjoyed by both the young and the old. In fact, even infants can sit and slide merrily on infant slides. Playground slides come in a range of shapes and designs. The most common one is the slide that has a smooth ramp on one side and a secure stair on the opposite end.
