Early Advancement

My kid is only three years old, but as early as now I am doing everything I can to make sure that he can get ahead with the rest. Even in his early years I would get her to watch various videos and instructional materials so that she can advance and absorb a lot of information and data as much as she can. I was told by my doctor friend that kids are able to absorb in a lot of information at this stage, and a parent must make sure that she is able to take advantage of that.

One of things I do is to conduct reading readiness games whenever I have the free time to spend with her. As a full time mother it is crucial that I would be able to focus more on my child instead of steering on household chores. This is my way of ensuring my child’s future and allowing her to get the best of what she can get.

Nostalgic Toys

There are certain toys which make us go back to wonderful memories of our childhood whenever we catch sight of them. Yes, there may be a lot of new toys and exciting ones for that matter which simply amazes us, but there is something about the good old classics which hit a soft spot inside of us. We would always have something back to remember and smile about.

One of these toys is the classic antique pedal fire truck. This typical pedal ride is something most of us had loved back when we were children, in a time when devices and gadgets were still not around and playing meant getting out of the house and not being glued in front of the computer. It allowed us to play and interact with friends, and engage in some physical activity while we are at it. There is something about the classics which never fail to go out of style.

Boys Will Be Boys

My husband and my son have a really close relationship with each other. I am glad that my son looks up to his father and considers him as his hero. I would usually observe them while they play around the house during the weekends, and spend a lot of time with each other. This is what my husband always wanted, to have a son which he can teach and rear into a great man.

My son would usually get involved in the same things and interests which my husband would be into. He had been hooked into basketball because his father loved the same. He also collects toy cars since his father mentioned he used to collect the same when he was a little boy. My husband even gave him a solar powered toy car to add to his collection. My boys are my life, and I am happy that they have a great relationship with each other.

Buying New

I got guilty when I observed that the toys which my younger son plays with are actually hand me downs from his older brother. I would not want him to feel that he is less important or loved, and would want to make sure that he feels as equal as his brother without any favorites. As a parent, I must always be fair to both my boys in order to rear them without any insecurities or feelings of low esteem.

This is why I decided to shop for a few new toys which I know he would absolutely love. The items I ordered online came two days ago, and he absolutely loved alphabet sound puzzle among all the things I got for him. I am sure he was able to appreciate the things I have given him, and realize that I both love him and his brother a whole lot.

Into A Contest

My kids and I would usually hang out together in the afternoon after I come home from my office. Running a business, I would usually have my afternoons off so I can spend more time with my kids. They are not growing any younger and I would want to make sure that I can have enough quality time with them while I can. In a few years they may already find it embarrassing to even hang out with me.

We would usually get into a number of activities in order to keep us busy. They always enjoy our games and contests though, especially when we race out to stack up alphabet nesting & stacking blocks. They would often be screaming and jumping in their attempt to outbeat each other. Of course I would need to pretend like I am doing it slowly than they are!

No Place

When we are a start-up family, we would usually need to work with a small space in our home. This is why we need to make sure we do not invest in a lot of things so we can manage the space and clutter in the house. It can be frustrating to come home to a place which seems too cramped and tight, especially when we would just want to relax and stretch out after a tiring day.

My son is celebrating his seventh birthday in a few weeks, and I have been very busy in arranging all the things we would need for the party. This is a milestone in our boy’s life, especially since we have been battling with his weak and sickly condition during his earlier years. We are thankful that he is able to survive it out despite the odds.

I would need to work within my budget and still make sure that I would be able to make the party as memorable as possible. I have been looking for gift bag ideas on the internet in the hopes that I can personalize each and every single item we would be giving away to our guests who will be joining us on this special day. I would only need to wait for the candies I have ordered and I have one item crossed off my list!

Last Wish

As a nurse in an elderly home, I get to witness the sad and depressing stories of various individuals who have been either abandoned by their families, or not being visited by their kids. It can be heartbreaking for someone like me to see this unfolding before my eyes, especially since I know that I would come to this point in the future. This is why I cannot help but become attached to these individuals.

I particularly feel bad for this old man who was never visited by his family after they left him under our care about two years ago. Despite calling them as he was in the brink of death, there were still no visits from them. As his birthday was coming up, I got him a vintage tricycle which he would always speak to me about. He told me that this was his favorite toy as a little boy, and that he even gave the same thing to his only son. He had passed on a few days back, but I am happy that at least I saw him smile for the first time when I placed the toy I purchased in his room.

Math Fun

When we hear the word math, most of us would usually be groaning and complaining. We may have not had a great experience when it comes to learning this subject, or we were probably worried about our grades back then. At an early time, we would need to make sure that our kids get to appreciate math in order for them not to take negative connotations about the subject.

This is the best way by which kids can look forward to learning math. There are a number of arithmetic games which can provide children a fun and enjoyable way of learning without having to get too much bored. Math can be fun, if only we have the right attitude towards it. This is something we must instill in our children in order to make sure they get to enjoy the subject.

Since my child is a lover of all things related to water, I decided to transform his room into a place which he would absolutely love. I have been on the lookout for potential themes, when I came across a mariner’s room in one of the magazines I was browsing upon. I immediately looked up on the internet for potential replacements and alternatives in order to save more money.

One of the things I immediately fell in love with was a boat toddler cot which I came across in one of the websites. It was the perfect furniture which would fit the project well. I asked my son to move in the guest room for the meantime and lock his room until the reveal date. I only would need to paint the walls and buy more furniture and fixtures for the space. Hopefully everything would fit right the way I have envisioned it to be.
