My friend and I are planning an outreach program with the kids in a poor community. We have felt that we are very blessed so we would want to spend our birthdays by giving back to others. An alternative birthday has been our idea since we have been sick and tired of throwing parties when we spend most of our time drinking and passing out.
For this outreach program we got a caterer to serve some food, and distributed some childrens educational toys for the kids to play with. We grew up privileged and we had all the things we needed in order for us to succeed. These kids on the other hand do not have anything so they need to be helped out by those who have more in life.
