Help your child develop various skills using a versatile set of toys. With child building blocks, a child can create houses, towers, castles and many other things he can think of. More than just a simple toy, building blocks provide many developmental advantages for children.
Here are several benefits:
~Improved hand-eye coordination – a child learns how to place things one on top of another in such a way that his tower will not tumble.
~Improved logical thinking – blocks help a child learn about gravity and weight-bearing loads, that a strong base is needed to support other blocks and that the pieces must be balanced properly to remain stable.
~Improved spatial awareness – a child finds out that he and his blocks take up space and that things can be moved around that space. With blocks, he learns about distance, directions and locations.
~Improved language skills – ask your child what he is building and he will gladly describe to you his wonderful structure. This is a great opportunity to foster communication and improve vocabulary.
