Letting your Child Choose her Doll House

What is a dollhouse without accessories? Introduce your daughter to a world of fantasy. Get her a nice sturdy dollhouse and help her fill it up with furniture. Doll houses are available ready made or in easy to assemble kits. Your child can choose a turn of the century Victorian cottage that features ornate trims and a bay window. Maybe she’d rather have one fit for a celebrity – a classical six bedroom house with shutters, corner posts and porch stairways.

It will amaze you how fast and fun building a dollhouse can be; especially if you are working with a kit. Before you can start building, you have to choose the kit. You need to decide on the style and size that you (or your child) has in mind. Does she prefer a front or rear opening? Will assembly require tools that you don’t have? Plan the project well and your child will have a lovely doll house in no time.
