My brother and I share an apartment in the city. After I was promoted in the office, I immediately set out to look for a much bigger apartment so we can be much more comfortable. It was a good thing that a friend of mine had mentioned there was a space out in the market in his building, so I made the necessary arrangements and got the entire contents of my old apartment packed right away.

When we unpacked everything in our new place, we realized there were a few items missing, including the Megatech R/C Receivers my brother owned. My brother was really furious when he could not find the box containing these things, and even went back to the old apartment just to make sure we did not miss out loading anything. He came back empty handed, and simply told me he would simply have to buy new ones for his RC collection.

As a former military guy, my friend recently got into an accident which no longer allowed him to be deployed on assignments. It was quite a huge blow for him, what with his dream ultimately shattered in pieces. All our friends would take turns in visiting him at his apartment, since he is taking it quite heavily and would take a long time before he fully accepts his fate. I could not blame him though, as he is too young to even retire from doing the one thing he loves.

For this Christmas, I decided to give him one of those RC military helicopters. Although these are not the real thing, I would hope that he would someday find it in his heart to let go and accept everything. There is more to life after the accident, and I am sure he will find that out later on. For the meantime he would have to heal and get to therapy sessions to get him right back in shape.

When one is starting out on a new activity or hobby, he would need all the help he can get. It is important that you would search for equipment or tools which would not be too complicated for someone who is just starting up. For those who are into flying, then RC planes and helicopters are a wonderful investment to get one started on a new past time. This is also perfect for those who are dreaming of flying their very own planes.

For those who are starting off on this new activity, it is best to keep it simple. Investing on a beginner RC helicopter will provide a newbie the advantage of learning the basics first before moving on to more complex gadgets. Experts would advice to master first the essentials before learning more complicated and harder tricks. This way, they can focus on keeping the hype and junk out of RC flying and focus only on what matters.

Since we have a big family, aside from the gift giving on Christmas we would usually hold kris kringle to add some excitement to the holiday season. My father started out on the tradition since some of our relatives would also come over to our place for Christmas dinner. It was always a delight having to guess who the person who has picked us and would often be surprised with the results.

This year I picked my nephew for the kris kringle. Since we all had to write down our wish lists, I saw that my nephew wanted RC helicopter or a few accessories he needed. I went online to look into options for RC helicopters, which I knew he would definitely prefer over mere accessories. My nephew was absolutely excited about the gift, and was quite surprised that I knew exactly what he wanted. Why wouldn’t I know, when I am a researcher by profession?

We all know that the radio control system is the brain of our much loved RC plane hobby. It is for this reason why much consideration is being placed in finding the perfect and optimum performing system in the market today. The receiver is an essential component which greatly affects the way RC planes provide flying satisfaction to any person. So before purchasing this box, it is best to read on the latest innovation and technology available in the market.

When it comes to receiver innovation, then the 2.4ghz RC receiver is considered to be the top of the line technological achievement in the sport. This receiver greatly affects the maneuverability of your RC flying and should therefore take a closer look into it. This system operates on much shorter wave lengths compared to the conventional ones. This means shorter antennae for improved look. This eliminates the need to install long tubes and wires which are such an eyesore.

I am lucky to have two men in my life, my husband and my five year old son. It has been a great life for all of us, and I can clearly see that these two men are truly close and have bonded over various hobbies and activities. I am happy to have finally had my own family, and I am hoping to increase the number of members in our household soon. One of the things my husband and son love to do during weekends is to fly RC planes, both in love about the whole concept of flying.

Given that both of the men in my life love these planes, I decided to get them a 3 channel RC helicopter. This was the perfect gift that is sure to keep my two men happy and to have an opportunity to bond even more. They were both ecstatic about the present and could not wait to have a go at their new item to add to their collection. This is the perfect thing for my son as well, since this is a beginner piece that will allow him to improve his flying control skills. Father and son bonding are surely going to be great with toys like these.

A radio-controlled model, also known as an RC model, is a model that is steerable with the use of radio control. Radio control is basically the use of radio signals to remotely control a device. The term radio control is used frequently to refer to the control of model vehicles from RC radios or a hand-held radio transmitter. Industrial, military, and scientific research organizations also make use of radio-controlled vehicles as well. The first general use of radio control systems started in the early 1950’s with single-channel, self-built equipment.

The invention of transistors greatly reduced the battery requirements, since the current requirements at low voltage were significantly reduced and the high voltage battery was totally eliminated. In both tube and early transistor sets, the model’s control surfaces were usually operated by an electromagnetic escapement controlling the stored energy in a rubber-band loop. This allowed simple on and off rudder control, such as right , left, and neutral, and sometimes other functions such as motor speed.

Remote controlled helicopters are considered model aircraft which are distinct from remote controlled airplanes because of their differences in construction, aerodynamics, and flight training. There are different types of remote controlled helicopters that you can choose from, depending on the type of flying you intend to do, as well as your budget. The RC HoneyBee helicopter is available in different models but is generally considered to be a beginners model.

The model EK1H-E004 is a robust beginner’s machine that comes with everything that a beginner will ever need. This RC helicopter is relatively inexpensive and ready-to-fly while being easy to repair and control. All you need to do is open the box, charge the battery, and you’re ready to fly away. This model is the most ideal design for indoor flight which is where a beginner should start flying until he masters the flight controls. The pre-position servo mounts for easy set-up making this model the best choice for RC helicopter beginners.

Flying radio-controlled model aircraft as a hobby has been growing in popularity worldwide with the advent of more efficient motors, lighter and more powerful batteries, and less expensive radio systems. The availability of RC airplane parts, as well as the wide variety of models and styles has also contributed to this surge in popularity. RC aircraft is controlled remotely by a hand-held transmitter and a receiver that is located within the craft itself.

This receiver controls the corresponding servos that move the control surfaces based on the position of joysticks on the transmitter, which in turn affect the orientation of the aircraft. There are different types of radio-controlled aircraft. Park flyers and trainers are designed for beginner hobbyists, while the glow plug engine, electric powered, and sailplane aircraft are reserved for more advanced pilots. Some models are even made to look and operate like a bird.

A good way to spend time with your children but not burning your pocket is to go a park. America is blessed with beautiful parks and we should all take advantage of this. Parks are excellent because you keep the kids away from their usual electronic games and they would tend to run and explore in parks. Hopefully the air there is fresh, so you and the kids also take in fresh air.

There may be some good activities the kids can also watch there. Sometimes there are birthday parties, or someone flying nitro RC helicopter or controlling some RC cars, or some dogs playing. Some well kept parks even have good play equipment for the kids. In San Francisco, particularly in the newly developed areas, the parks even have fun water parks that are free!
