A remote controlled airplane, just like other remote controlled devices, consists of a transmitter and a receiver. There are different types of remote controlled airplanes, from propeller types to RC jet planes. Typically, a remote controlled airplane is a device that is reserved for hobbyists or toy enthusiasts, although there are larger scale models that are used by aviation experts. Some organizations as well as the military also use remote controlled airplanes for experimental purposes.

Nowadays, most remote controlled airplanes are designed for general hobby use or as toys. Parks and beaches are popular locations to fly a remote controlled airplane, but smaller toy models are configured for flying in the backyard and a few are so small that they can even be flown indoors. Flying remote controlled airplanes is a popular hobby among people of all ages. You can order or purchase a remote controlled airplane as a complete model or as kits that can be built and custom designed.

There’s nothing like a toy that can bring any adult to become a kid once again. This goes for me anytime, especially when it comes to RC planes. This always gets me back to those times when my brother and I used to play around the field, with the RC planes we ourselves have assembled after months of saving up our allowances. Memories like this make me miss my older brother so much.

That’s one of the reasons why RC planes always had that special spot in my heart. Even in my age I would spend some time off and play with my collection of model RC brushless electric planes. Flying away in the sky, I hope that my brother gets to see these wonderful moments, wishing he would be here beside me to enjoy it as well. My brother may have long been gone, but memories of him and the fun we both had still remain in my heart.

Having it tagged as just another expensive activity, one should not discredit the advantages of having RC toys as a hobby. Benefits of these remote controlled toys are sociological, physical and mental. Enthusiasts usually join RC clubs to widen their knowledge and share their love for these toys.

Clubs like these allow for interaction and interpersonal development. Hand and eye coordination is greatly improved with this hobby, as it requires accuracy in driving. It teaches you the value of patience, perseverance and discipline. Aside from that, having to operate these toys in open air provide that much needed exercise which can be good for one’s physical well-being. Remote control planes are not just toys, they can be tools in developing and improving oneself as well.

This company was created in October 1963 and created its first trademark RC car in 1970.

Kyosho also produces exceptionally detailed die-cast model cars. Their major competitor in the RC automobile market is Tamiya. Kyosho has managed to avoid direct competition against Tamiya in the hobby grade RC cars market since the 80’s and the 90’s, focusing instead on designing professional 1/8 scale racing buggies and RC helicopters, areas which they dominate until today. They are known for these products but they also produce remote-controlled bipedal robots in the Manoi series.

A remote controlled airplane is a type of aircraft vehicle that is designed to be flown remotely from a distance. Nowadays, most remote controlled airplanes, such as ParkZone planes, are designed for general hobby use or as toys. A remote controlled airplane, just like other remote controlled devices, consist of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is most often a handheld variety, while the receiver is usually located onboard the aircraft itself.

ParkZone planes are designed to do victory rolls, Cuban-8s, and Immelmans thanks to the powerful 480 brush-less out-runner motor and semi-symmetrical airfoil. The paint scheme and decals that are used for ParkZone planes are authentic reproductions of the actual markings of the real planes that they are patterned from. With ParkZone planes, you get everything you need to fly in one box, including the batteries. The transmitter and the charger are also included with every ParkZone plane package.

The two wings are normally mounted near the front of the plane, with one wing being above and the other one below the cockpit. There are RC biplane models that are designed to look just like the real biplanes of old. There are small biplane models that are designed to turn your living room into an indoor aerodome with their maneuverability and tight turning radius.

The Megatech Avion Biplane is considered the easiest to fly indoor model airplane in the world. It is a high-performance, precision controlled, highly maneuverable, ready-to-fly, easy to use indoor aerobat. It features a Spectrum-Link Optical-Control technology designed for a micro-sized RC model airplane at a very affordable price. This biplane will give you the piloting confidence to fly within the confines of average sized rooms turning all of these places into open skies.

The early remote control planes used to be powered by fuel, but advancements in technology has made battery power more convenient and less expensive to use. Flying these remote control airplanes has become a very popular hobby among many people nowadays.

Radio control airplanes usually refer to toy planes designed to be controlled remotely using some sort of steering and guidance system. These are popular toys for both children and adults, and come in a variety of styles. Some RC electric planes are considered to be radio controlled airplanes as long as they can be controlled remotely using the same sort of steering and guidance system.

Controllers for these types of planes vary in complexity. Some may have simple controls, allowing for forward, left, right, up, and down directions. While others may include a throttle to allow for speed to be controlled as well. RC electric planes are differentiated from planes that are powered by fuel. Today’s technology have made battery power more convenient and less expensive to use than fuel.
