Until recently, war games were typically played as re-enactments of historical wars. And while that’s fun, it lacks a certain kind of playfulness. Enter paintball wars. This kind of war game is not only fun, it’s also tactical and strategic. These days, war games are very popular tactical sports. Paintball guns are sleeker, have more features and can deploy paintballs at very fast speeds.

When buying paintball guns, keep these things in mind:1. Check the weight. You’ll be lugging around these guns during game play, you have to be able to carry the weight comfortably. 2. Ask the salesclerk to give you a demonstration on how to load and discharge a specific paintball gun. 3. Ask for recommendations from other war game players. 4. Consider whether you prefer accuracy or speed.

To make a paintball match really challenging, it is a great idea to use innovative gadgets like smoke grenades and paintball mines. Paintball mines are gadgets that work like real landmines. They can trap and spray an unwary opponent with your team’s paint colors.

Some mines are activated when they are stepped upon. When triggered, these explode with paint. Another type of mine is triggered by tripwires. These spray paint when an opponent brushes against the trigger. To use these mines effectively, you have to be very careful in hiding them. Ideal hiding places include trees and bushes. You also have to remember where you planted your mine so you don’t set it off yourself.

The magazine holds a 12-gram disposable CO2 cartridge that powers up to 24 shots before you have to replace it. This pistol also reseals itself when the magazine is removed for reloading thus preserving the remaining CO2 pressure.
