I got guilty when I observed that the toys which my younger son plays with are actually hand me downs from his older brother. I would not want him to feel that he is less important or loved, and would want to make sure that he feels as equal as his brother without any favorites. As a parent, I must always be fair to both my boys in order to rear them without any insecurities or feelings of low esteem.

This is why I decided to shop for a few new toys which I know he would absolutely love. The items I ordered online came two days ago, and he absolutely loved alphabet sound puzzle among all the things I got for him. I am sure he was able to appreciate the things I have given him, and realize that I both love him and his brother a whole lot.

Playtime Sessions

My little boy is growing up too fast. Back in the days he would usually just run for me and be dependent on me and his dad. Now he loves to ask for those playtime sessions my friends and I would usually plan. He is such a sociable person, and he loves playing with kids and sharing his toys with them. It was just like yesterday when he could not even speak nor walk. Time does fly fast without you realizing it.

One of the things I bought him was one of those big rig toy trucks. He saw the same toy from one of my friend’s sons and he wanted one for himself so they can race them together. They are quite a tandem and they would have so much fun playing the whole day. This is absolutely convenient for us friends so we can have our own chitchat while they play. They can busy themselves with big rig toy trucks while we can sit back and relax, and have a few laughs.

Discard Infant Toys as the child Grows Older

Very young children are not yet ready to take care of their own toys. They will usually have a bunch of stuffed toys, pull toys and picture books. These are best kept in storage trunks that they can easily access. As we know, toys grow with the child. As the child gain in years, they will be attracted to more interactive toys. Infant toys should be discarded to make way for more advanced toys.

Children toys tend to invade the whole house. Even with a room dedicated to playing, toys will still find their way to the living room, dining room or kitchen. By putting containers or baskets in these rooms, clean up will be easier. It is obvious that with children in the house, storage is your best friend in keeping an organized and neat home. It will also train children to keep toys when not in use.
